Dan Babl
I was raised in Stuart, NE but later moved to Kearney where I attended Kearney State College and graduated with a Bachelors of Science Degree in 1974. Two years later, I started Babl Company, building custom homes in the Kearney area. In the early 80’s, I made my way into the kitchen and bath industry in which Babl Company evolved into the company that it is today. With my knowledge of building homes, I have a complete understanding of what needs to be done in order for the project to be successful. I am fortunate to have my children, Kyle and Kay, work alongside me each and every day. We are passionate about what we do and we strive to help our customers make their dreams a reality.
Kyle Babl
I am a second generation contractor, lifelong Kearney native, husband and proud father of two. I have been a part of Babl Kitchen and Bath and the industry since 2000, and love what I do here! You will find me working on our most intricate projects, as I love challenges, along with pushing the limits of what’s possible in kitchen and bathroom designs and their installation.
Kay Babl, AKBD
Along with my brother Kyle, I feel blessed to be part of the second generation to play a big role in the family business. I am a certified Associate Kitchen and Bath Designer and I have worked in this industry for many years. My main focus is to provide our customers with the best service possible while focusing on the details of their project. Along with designing our client’s kitchens and baths, I also offer my interior design services to bring any project to a full circle. There is nothing better than seeing our clients absolutely in love with their new space. If you can dream it, I will design it, and we will create it together!
Whitney Purvis
Although I am not a part of the second generation to be working in the family business, I still feel right at home. I love to help our customers with design, product selection, and answering any questions that they might have regarding their new home or remodel product. It is so rewarding getting to work closely with our customers and take their project from inception to completion. It is my priority to make sure that all my customers are in love with their new space! We pride ourselves on being a full service company and we stand by the products we sell. At Babl Kitchen and Bath, you are getting the whole package and I feel so fortunate to be a part of this team.
Shelbie Luethke
On a typical day you will find me doing about anything in, out, and around the office. I enjoy helping customers reimagine their spaces to be the best possible option for them. I have always been fascinated with this industry and it is so cool to see how it is constantly evolving. We do an exceptional job of keeping up with all of the latest and greatest products that there is to offer. When you step foot in our showroom, their is no doubt, that you are in the right place!

Here at Babl Kitchen and Bath we have worked a combined total of over 75 years in the kitchen and bath industry.
Dan and his excellent staff did a wonderful job of taking our custom-designed home plan and filling it with beautiful, custom-built, and affordable cabinetry. He listened to our ideas and took them to make functional work environments that suited our home and lifestyle. He worked closely with our builder to ensure that cabinets were available promptly when needed. He also made numerous visits to our building site to ensure that cabinets would work effectively into our house plan, measurements were accurate, and cabinets were delivered as ordered and were properly installed. We highly recommend Dan Babl, not only for the excellent quality and beauty of his cabinets, sinks and countertops, but also his personal service and attention to detail in his kitchen and bath design.
